4/E (advanced) - Students are exceeding assignment expectations, they have shown mastery of the skill. 4 is not a report card measure. 90% or above 3/M (proficient/meeting expectations)- Students are meeting expectations, they are showing mastery of the skill. To achieve a three on the report card students must achieve an 80% or higher 3 or more times and maintain the skill. 80% or higher 2/P (approaching proficiency/progressing)-Students need improvement of the skill. Students are on track to mastering the skill with more guided practice. 70% or higher, student papers will be marked with a NYT (Not Yet There) and grades below an 80% will no longer be given a numerical value. 1/B (below standard)- Students need to be retaught the skill being assessed. 69% or lower. Anytime a student earns under an 80% they may rewrite or retest. Grades 4-8 need to plan a retest with me, after they have been retaught or have been given extra practice. Birthday Celebrations
